Senior Electronics/hardware engineer
Shaping the Future of Secure Networking!
At Asperiq, we design and build secure communication solutions from the ground up covering embedded systems, backend services, and modern web applications.
We are looking for an experienced senior Electronics Designer who wants to contribute to the development of advanced products within our company.
We are a small, privately owned technology company with short decision paths, strong engineering expertise, and a genuine technical spirit.
About the Role:
As an Electronics Designer, you will be responsible for the complete electronics design of our products from early concept and architecture to a finalized, verified design ready for manufacturing, including the necessary documentation and production data.
You will work with both analog and digital electronics, creating circuit schematics and PCB layouts in Altium Designer, our primary CAD tool.
You will collaborate closely with both software and mechanical engineers, so an understanding of mechanical design and integration is highly valuable.
Although the main focus of the role is electronics design, you will also be responsible for the bring-up and validation of your hardware ensuring that the design works as intended and meets the specified requirements. This includes hands-on verification such as soldering, measurements, debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other common lab tools.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Develop analog and digital electronics for the company’s products.
Produce circuit schematics and PCB layouts in Altium Designer.
Be involved in creating test jigs and fixtures for verification and production of in-house developed PCBs.
Perform bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting of your designs using appropriate test equipment.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and system engineers to ensure robust overall solutions.
Prepare documentation and design deliverables for manufacturing and industrialization.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has several years of experience in electronics design across both analog and digital domains.
Is an experienced user of Altium Designer and works in a structured manner with CAD and documentation.
Has experience with PCB layout for high-speed signals, with strong understanding of signal integrity and impedance control.
Has experience of being involved in designing test jigs or fixtures for PCB testing and verification.
Understands mechanical design and how electronics interact with mechanical structures.
Enjoys a self-driven and varied role in a smaller, technology-focused company.
Communicates clearly in both English and Swedish, orally and in writing.
Meriting Experience
Design experience within cybersecurity, safety-critical systems, or defense-related applications (MIL)
We Offer
A central role in a small, dedicated team with strong technical competence.
The opportunity to influence both technical solutions and product strategy.
A stable, privately owned workplace with long-term focus and high technical ambition.
Flexibility, short decision paths, and a culture where your experience is genuinely valued.
You Must Have
Swedish citizenship, as we operate in the security industry.
