π Join us as a System Test Engineer! Build the automated framework that tests our secure IP-VPN platform across real switches, firewalls, and networks. Apply now!
At Asperiq, we build secure communication systems designed to protect sensitive data in critical environments. We're now looking for a system test engineer to join our system test team and help build the automated test framework behind our IP-VPN platform β covering everything from framework architecture to the network setups it runs against.
You'll work at the intersection of networking, test automation, and software development. If you enjoy solving hard problems with a curious and methodical mindset, and you'd rather find the bug before the customer does, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
What you'll be doing
You'll join our system test team and work on both our test framework and the test cases that run on it. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and building an automated system test framework capable of testing our product across a range of network setups.
Integrating and automating tests against a variety of switches, firewalls, and network equipment.
Modeling realistic and adversarial network topologies to validate product behavior under varied conditions.
Writing and maintaining automated test cases, and executing manual testing where automation isn't (yet) the answer.
Diagnosing and root-causing failures across the network, system, and application layers.
Participating in agile team rituals like stand-ups and planning meetings, and being actively involved in technical decision-making.
Collaborating across disciplines β from software developers to embedded hardware engineers β to deliver robust and secure solutions.
What we're looking for
Required experience:
Deep knowledge of networking β routing, switching, firewalls, and common protocols.
Solid programming skills, with the ability to build and maintain a test framework, not just write test cases.
Hands-on experience with system or integration testing in a networked or product environment.
Additional skills we appreciate:
Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
Familiarity with networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
Experience with Python, Go, or similar languages for tooling and automation.
Confidence working in Linux environments.
Understanding of VPN, cryptography, or secure networking concepts.
What we value in you
You're adaptable and open to exploring new technical areas.
You enjoy complex challenges and take a structured approach to solving them.
You're curious, continuously learning, and eager to improve both product and process.
You document well and communicate clearly β both in code and conversations.
You pay attention to detail without losing sight of delivery goals.
What we offer
A chance to shape how a mission-critical secure communication system is tested and validated.
A collaborative team where your input matters and your work has visible impact.
A mix of deep technical work and product-level influence.
A flat organization that values learning, transparency, and continuous improvement.
An onboarding program and dedicated mentor to support your transition.
Apply today and join us in building the future of secure digital infrastructure. We're excited to meet our next team member.
